IPL Schedule 2024 : Match Venues, Squad Details and Timings
The Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule for 2024 was released on Thursday by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).On March 22 at Chepauk in Chennai, the tournament will kick off with the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore. The first 21 matches of the schedule were the only ones revealed on Thursday. In due course, the schedule for the remaining games will be released.
The 17th edition of the IPL competition will take place in the upcoming season. IPL 2024 will follow the same traditional home and away format as the previous edition. The Covid-19 pandemic forced a four-year break before the home-and-away format was reinstated last year.
